Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.

On December 13, 2021, Ameris Bancorp (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing its banking subsidiary, Ameris Bank, has acquired Balboa Capital Corporation (“Balboa”). The Company also issued an investor presentation with additional information regarding Balboa and the acquisition.
