On April 11, 2016, Debra J. Richardson notified American Equity Investment Life Holding Company (the "Company") she will retire as Executive Vice President and Secretary effective July 1, 2016. Ms. Richardson has been employed by the Company since 1996. Ms. Richardson will continue as a member of the Company’s Board of Directors.
