“América Móvil informs about dividend and share buyback fund proposals”

Mexico City, March 22, 2022. América Móvil, S.A.B. de C.V. (" AMX ") [BMV: AMX] [NYSE: AMX | AMOV] , announces that its Board of Directors decided to submit to AMX shareholders’ meetings, to be held during April 2022, the following proposals:

Dividend

To pay a MXP$0.44 (Forty four peso cents) dividend, in one installment on August 29, 2022, to each of the shares of its capital stock series “AA”, “A” and “L” (including the preferred dividend to which series “L” shares are entitled), subject to corporate events that may vary the number of outstanding shares as of the dividend payment date, including repurchase or placement of its own shares.

Buyback Program

To increase the buyback program fund, for the April 2022 – April 2023 period, by an amount equal to MXP$26,000,000,000.00 (Twenty six billion pesos) , from the fund’s balance as of the date of the upcoming shareholders’ meetings.
