“América Móvil informs to the market”

Mexico City, August 18, 2020. América Móvil, S.A.B. de C.V. (" AMX ") [BMV: AMX] [NYSE: AMX | AMOV], was notified of a resolution, issued by the Board of Directors of the Superintendency of Competition ( Superintendencia de Competencia ) in El Salvador, that conditions the approval of the acquisition by AMX of 99.3% of Telefónica Móviles El Salvador, S.A. de C.V. on the acceptance of certain material remedies.

América Móvil is analyzing the aforementioned resolution and will inform about the actions, if any, in relation to said resolution.
