“América Móvil informs about spectrum auction results published by the Instituto Federal de Telecomunicaciones”

Mexico City, February 19, 2016. América Móvil, S.A.B. de C.V. (" AMX ") [BMV: AMX] [NYSE: AMX] [NASDAQ: AMOV] [LATIBEX: XAMXL], AMX informs that, as a result of the spectrum auction recently carried out by the Federal Telecommunications Institute ( Instituto Federal de Telecomunicaciones or “ IFT ”), its subsidiary Radiomóvil Dipsa S.A. de C.V. (“ Telcel ”), gained a total of 20 MHz nationwide in the AWS-1 band and 40 MHz nationwide in the AWS-3 band, which will be added to the current spectrum holdings in said band. The concessions obtained will expire on October 1, 2030 and Telcel will pay a total of MXP$2,098,059,883.00 for the rights of use of the spectrum during the term of the concessions.

The concessions will be granted upon compliance of certain requirements provided under the auction rules issued by the IFT.
