AMCOR ANNOUNCES NEW MANAGING DIRECTOR FOR AMCOR AUSTRALASIA

Amcor announces today that Greg Beatty has been appointed the new Managing Director for Amcor Australasia.

Greg has held senior positions at a number of industrial and consumer goods companies in Australasia. These include CEO of Fonterra Australasia, Managing Director of Austrim Nylex and Divisional General Manager of ICI Polymers.

Louis Lachal, the current Managing Director of Amcor Australasia will remain with Amcor for a transitional period before retiring from full time executive duties in 2008. Louis has made an outstanding contribution to the company during his long career with Amcor.
