New technical approach to the Gas Interconnection Poland-Lithuania Project in Poland is considered

Lithuania's natural gas transmission system operator, AB Amber Grid, has been
recently notified of technically related issues that have occurred in the
territory of Poland in carrying out the preparatory works and possible
alternatives of technical solutions for the Gas Interconnection
Poland-Lithuania (GIPL) Project.

According to the information received, the Polish transmission system operator,
GAZ-SYSTEM S.A., has encountered number of difficulties in planning the
Rembelszczyzna Gas Compressor Station capacity enhancement. The alternative
technical approach that is currently under consideration could have a positive
impact on the Project scope: possibility increase the capacity and decrease the
investments.

The pending changes in the GIPL Project technical approach in the Polish
territory will be neutral to the Project scope in the territory of Lithuania.
Only the Project implementation schedule possibly will be effected with the
completion date postponed.

As soon as AB Amber Grid receives more specific information from the Polish
transmission system operator, AB Amber Grid will adjust possible changes in the
implementation schedule of the Project and will take necessary decisions.
