Agreements signed on allocation of European Union Structural Funds for natural gas transmission infrastructure projects
Agreements signed on allocation of European Union Structural Funds for natural gas transmission infrastructure projects
Lithuanian natural gas transmission system operator AB Amber Grid and the
Lithuanian Business Support Agency have signed eight agreements on projects
co-financed from European Union (EU) Structural Funds. Under these agreements,
eight natural gas transmission infrastructure projects have been allocated up
to EUR 14.6 million in EU financial assistance according to the “Natural Gas
Transmission System Modernization And Development” measure 06.3.1-LVPA-V-104 of
priority axis 6 "Developing Sustainable Transport and Key Network
Infrastructures" of the Operational Programme for EU Structural Funds
Investments for 2014-2020.
The projects cover integration of software and technological equipment,
modernization of the existing gas transmission system through the integration
of smart gas infrastructure elements.
