UAB EPSO-G forms the Board

Vilnius, Lithuania, 2016-11-11 08:12 CET (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- On 10 of November 2016, the Supervisory Board of UAB EPSO-G elected the Board of UAB EPSO-G comprised of five members for a four-year term. The Board will consist of the following independent Board members: Gediminas Almantas, CEO of Lithuanian Airports, Valdas Vitkauskas, senior banker at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), and Rytis Ambrazevičius, president at the Baltic Institute of Corporate Governance, who will be considered an independent Board member after his resignation from the board of AB Klaipėdos nafta, namely as of 1 of December 2016. Rolandas Zukas, General Director of UAB EPSO-G, and Algirdas Juozaponis, Director for Finance of UAB EPSO-G, were also elected as the Board members of UAB EPSO-G. The Board of UAB EPSO-G adopts the most important governance decisions related to UAB EPSO-G group of companies, to which AB Amber Grid belongs. UAB EPSO-G is a holding company, which holds controlling stakes in the natural gas transmission system operator AB Amber Grid, the electricity transmission system operator LITGRID AB, and Lithuania's energy resources exchange operator UAB BALTPOOL.
