AMA Group Acquires Fully Equipped (NZ)
AMA is pleased to announce that it has completed the acquisition of Fully Equipped Group Limited.
Headquartered in Hamilton, New Zealand and with two distribution facilities in Auckland and Wellington, Fully Equipped is one of New Zealand’s leading manufacturers and distributors of aftermarket automotive accessories including canopies and deck liners.
The acquisition complements AMA’s Automotive Component Accessory Division and aligns with the Group’s growth strategy to increase its manufacturing capabilities and product portfolio.
After funding costs, Fully Equipped will make a positive contribution to the Group’s earnings and will be EPS accretive in FY20.
The business will continue to operate as Fully Equipped and their existing management structure will report to Campbell Jones, CEO of the ACM Parts/ACAD business.
AMA Group CEO, Andy Hopkins, said “the acquisition of Fully Equipped enables AMA to extend its footprint in the New Zealand market. The Fully Equipped business is a great fit for the AMA Group and provides exciting opportunities to grow our manufacturing capability and export sales into Australia with new product offerings.”
He added, “this acquisition, together with further potential acquisitions currently in our pipeline, places the Group in a good position to deliver on our growth and earnings strategy in FY20 and beyond.”
