ALLOMAK APPOINTS CFO
Allomak Limited (Allomak or the Company) (ASX: AMA) today announced the appointment of Thomas McDonald as Chief Financial Officer of the Company, effective 22 September 2008.
Thomas McDonald brings extensive commercial and financial experience to Allomak, including roles as Chief Financial Officer in high growth industries within the ASX environment. Having been based in California, Mr McDonald, also has experience with USA listed companies.
Mr McDonald holds a Bachelors Degree in Commerce from the University of NSW and is a postgraduate of University of Technology Sydney (UTS). He is a Fellow of the Certified Practicing Accountants (FCPA), and an Associate of the Chartered Secretaries Australia (ACSA).
Allomak Managing Director, Rob Allan, welcomed Mr McDonald to the Allomak group saying: “Mr McDonald brings outstanding credentials to this new role, complementing an already strong senior management team.”
In the 2007-08 financial year, Allomak enjoyed sales growth of over 100 per cent to $79.3 million and EBIT up over 100 per cent to $10 million. It also acquired five outstanding businesses in the automotive aftermarket sector and related industries.
