Alujain announces its Financial Statements for the period ending 31st March 2010 (Three months)

Alujain announces its financial statements for the period ending 31 March 2010:

1. Net loss during the 1st quarter of SR6,671,313 compared to net loss of SR10,829,442 during the same period in 2009 with a decrease of 38.4% and compared to net profit of SR2,525,088 during the previous quarter.

2. Gross profit during the 1st quarter of SR147,356 compared to SR392,403 during the same period in 2009 with a decrease of 62.45%.

3. Operating loss during the 1st quarter of SR8,917,462 compared to operating loss of SR15,205,078 during the same period in 2009 with a decrease of 41.35%.

4. Loss per common share during past 3 months of SR0.10 compared to loss of SR0.16 per common share during the same period in 2009.

5. The decrease of SR4.1 million in net loss during the 1st quarter 2010 in comparison to the 1st quarter 2009 was mainly due to decrease in general and administrative (G&A) expenses by SR5.7 million, offset by SR1.8 million decrease in minority shareholders share of the net loss. The decrease in G&A expenses is mainly from the subsidiarys reduced manpower expenses and foreign currency translation differences.
