ASX ANNOUNCEMENT

2 DECEMBER 2021

CHAIRMANS ADDRESS – 1[ST] AGM

Copper Search Limited (ASX:CUS) (“Copper Search”, ”the Company”) is holding the inaugural Annual General Meeting of shareholders at 11am (WST) today and provides this announcement to the ASX to release the text of the Chairman’s address prior to holding the meeting.

There are no further updates or other presentation information being provided at the meeting. Results from the resolutions being considered at the meeting will be released after the end of the meeting,

Chairman’s Address

Thank you for joining us for the Company’s first annual meeting following the successful IPO and listing on the ASX in mid-September.

As you will know, as part of that process we raised $12 million from investors – the maximum amount we were seeking.

This has put us on a very strong footing from which to carry out our exploration plans on our landholding in South Australia’s Gawler Craton, which covers more than 6,000km2 in total.

All our project areas were selected on the basis of their prospectivity for Iron Oxide CopperGold (IOCG) or similar large-scale deposits as well as other attributes. Across these projects, the exploration team led by Martin Spivey has to date identified more than 10 high priority targets and we are progressing work to identify more. To test all our expected targets in their entirety, it is likely to take the best part of two years.

We also continue to monitor for opportunities to acquire additional ground and have lodged an Exploration Licence Application for the 975km2 tenement between Peake and Dennison and Ruby Hill.

Factors including unexpected ground conditions and extensive rains through the region, have led to some delays with our initial drilling programs.

While frustrating, we have dealt with these matters to the best of our ability and none has diminished the company’s value proposition in a material way.

We look forward to building some momentum with drilling into the new year and delivering a steady flow of results to the market.

Although Copper Search possesses extensive in-house technical expertise, shortly after listing we moved to establish a South Australian exploration team headed by experienced geologist Richard Hill.

Primarily, this was to limit any potential COVID-related disruption to operations. Based on the uncertainty that persists around border closures and quarantine requirements from state to state, it has proven to be a smart move.

The Company is now working to seek and appoint a Chief Executive Officer, who in all likelihood will be based in Adelaide, along with Non-Executive Directors Greg Hall and Tony Belperio, giving us strong representation in SA.

I’d like to thank Greg, Tony and Executive Director Peter McIntyre for their contributions in guiding the company, as well as the other members of our small team.

Most importantly though, I must thank the shareholders that have supported Copper Search on its journey to becoming a listed company and an active explorer.

We are firmly focused on rewarding you by creating value through discovery.

-ENDS-
