Altitude (AIM:ALT), a leading provider of technology and enterprise information management solutions to the print and promotional products sector, announces that Richard Sowerby has been appointed Chief Financial Officer with immediate effect.  He replaces David Dannhauser who has resigned.

Since 2011, Richard has been Finance Director of Stridage Holdings Limited, which acquired Altitude's promotional products division in June 2011, and a director of Meritas Development Limited, whose business is agricultural based analytical testing.  He has also been a director of Carr-Hill Limited since 2008 which he set up to provide finance director and advisory services to a portfolio of venture capital-backed entrepreneurial SME businesses.

Previous positions held by Richard include Group Finance Director of Eclipse Scientific Group, an institutionally-backed laboratory testing business from 2005 to 2008 and Finance Director and Managing Director from 1998 to 2003 of Senior Architectural, an architectural aluminium system supplier where he led the management team to restructure the business and address its funding requirements.

In February 2009 Mr. Sowerby became a director of C J Garland & Co. Limited ("CJG"), a UK based contact centre serving the telecom sector, at the request of consultants acting for CJG's bank.  He was tasked with managing the reduction of approximately £6 million of debt and the renegotiation of leases, both of which were achieved.  In early 2010, CJG's clients started to migrate their business offshore and as a result, administrators were appointed in May 2010.  CJG was liquidated in February 2013 with a shortfall of approximately £3.5 million.

Mr. Sowerby has confirmed that there is no further information to disclose in accordance with Schedule Two, paragraph (g) of the AIM Rules for Companies.
