Board Appointment

Altitude (AIM: ALT), a leading provider of technology and enterprise information management solutions to the print and promotional products sector, is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephen Yapp as a Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.

Stephen Yapp, 55, has been Executive Chairman of Journey Group plc since June 2007. He was also previously Executive Chairman at Redstone plc from September 2009 to September 2010 and Non-Executive Director of Imagesound plc from December 2007 to December 2009. Prior to that, he was Chief Executive of the DCS Group plc from 2001 to 2006.

Colin Cooke, who has been Non-Executive Chairman of Altitude since 2005, will be retiring at the next Annual General Meeting and it is intended that Stephen Yapp will succeed him in this role.

Colin Cooke, Non-Executive Chairman of Altitude, commented: "I am delighted that Stephen Yapp is joining the Board. I have been pleased to work with Martin Varley and his colleagues over recent years as the Company has evolved its strategy to focus on its technology products and the development of opportunities in North American markets.  As I approach retirement, it is timely that I hand over to a new Chairman for the next phase in the Company's development. Stephen has a good deal of relevant experience and I am confident that he will be able to bring renewed energy to the task in hand."
