Alternus Energy Group PLC (the “Company”) and one of its US subsidiaries, ALT US 03, LLC, today were served a complaint filed in the Third Judicial District Court of Salt Lake County, Utah, USA by Celtic Bank Corporation (“Celtic”), claiming that $811,091 plus interest, costs, expenses and legal fees is due and owed to Celtic pursuant to a promissory note and loan agreement signed with ALT US 03 and a guarantee agreement signed with the Company.

Further information will be made available once AEG and ALT US 03 have more fully assessed the implications of the complaint. As ALT US 03 is a subsidiary of AEG only and is not a subsidiary of Alternus Clean Energy Inc. (“ALCE”), this judgement has no effect or impact on ALCE.
