A-LABS CAPITAL V CORP. ANNOUNCES AGM RESULTS AND NAME CHANGE

March 4, 2024

A-Labs Capital V Corp. (TSXV: ALBA.P) (the "Company"), a capital pool company ("CPC") listed on the TSX Venture Exchange (the "Exchange"), announces that, at the Company's Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders ("AGSM") held on February 29, 2024, shareholders approved a special resolution to change the name of the Company to Alterego Ventures 24 Corp. (the "Name Change"). All matters submitted to the shareholders at the AGSM, as set out in the Company's Notice and Management Information Circular dated January 30, 2024, were voted in favour, including the Name Change. The Company's shares will also trade under the new symbol "ALTR" (the "Trading Symbol Change").

Both the Name Change and the Trading Symbol Change are expected to be effective upon the start of trading on the Exchange on March 6, 2024. The Company's new CUSIP is 02157H109.

Certificates or DRS statements representing common shares of the Company are not affected by the Name Change and do not need to be exchanged. The Name Change does not affect the rights of the Company's security holders and no further action is required by existing security holders.
