ALTEN SPEEDS UP ITS DEVELOPMENT THROUGH NEW STRATEGIC ACQUISITIONS
In late December 2013, Alten finalized the acquisition of four Technology Consulting companies mainly abroad.
These companies totalize an estimated turnover of €80 million in 2013 and 720 consultants. They will be consolidated as from January 1 st , 2014.
ALTEN PURCHASED:
1 - In France:
A company specialized in information technology. This acquisition strengthens Alten's presence in major accounts in Bank and Tertiary sectors. (Turnover: €12 million, 140 consultants).
2 – In the United States and Europe (Mainly in UK):
A technology consulting, management and project management company in the U.S. and Europe in Automotive, Energy and Telecommunications sectors. (Turnover: €42 million, 300 consultants).
3 – In Germany:
Two companies specialized in real-time embedded systems and infotainment in the Automotive and Aerospace sectors.
(Turnover: €26 million, 280 consultants).
MEMORANDUM OF ACQUISITION OF GECI ENGINEERING:
In the coming weeks, Alten has completed the process of acquisition of GECI ENGINEERING specialized in business structure calculations, the integration of mechanical and electrical systems and manufacturing engineering.
The acquisition remains subject to an approval process by the Commercial Court of Nanterre.
NEXT EVENT: Publication of the fourth quarter turnover on January 31st, 2014.
