ALTEN CLOSES THE ACQUISITION OF GECI ENGINEERING

The Commercial Courts of Paris and Nanterre have homologated the sale of the GECI Engineering business comprising the following companies: GECI Systèmes and its subsidiaries (France), GECI GmbH (Germany) and its subsidiary, GECI Ingeneria (Spain) and GECI Engineering Services (Romania).

The transfer of ownership has been effected on 7 March 2014.

GECI ENGINEERING is specialized in the business of structures calculation, system integration (mechanical and electrical) and manufacturing engineering.

GECI ENGINEERING is referenced by the main European customers in Aircraft, Space, Naval and Rail ways transportation.

This acquisition will enable Alten to complement its offering and to strengthen its area of competence and expertise for strategic customers within Europe.

GECI ENGINEERING should generate a yearly turnover of €35 million at the end of 2014.
