Appointment of Non-executive Director
ALS Limited ( ASX Code: ALQ ) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Tonianne Dwyer as a non-executive director effective from 1 July 2016 (1).
Chairman Nerolie Withnall said that Tonianne brings to the Board significant experience as a company director and executive working in finance, corporate strategy and mergers and acquisitions across a variety of sectors and international markets.
The appointment follows the announcement made on 31 March 2016 that Mrs Withnall will be retiring from the ALS Board at the conclusion of the 2016 AGM being held in July.
ABOUT TONIANNE DWYER
Ms Tonianne Dwyer is an internationally experienced independent company director.
Ms Dwyer had a 25 year executive career in investment banking during which she held roles with Hambros Bank Limited and Societe General in the UK and Europe.
Ms Dwyer currently holds non-executive directorships on ASX-listed companies Metcash Limited, DEXUS Property Group and DEXUS Wholesale Property Fund. She is also a nonexecutive director of Queensland Treasury Corporation and a member of the Senate of the University of Queensland.
Ms Dwyer has a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and Bachelor of Jurisprudence (Hons) from the University of Western Australia. She is a Graduate of Australian Institute of Company Directors and a member of Chief Executive Women.
