Appointment of Non-Executive Director

Campbell Brothers Limited (ASX Code: CPB) today announced the appointment of Grant Murdoch as a non-executive Director of the Company, filling the vacancy left following the retirement of Martin Kriewaldt in July 2011.

Grant is a Partner of Ernst & Young and the Divisional Director of Ernst & Young Transaction Advisory Services Limited in Queensland. He is chairman of the Endeavour Foundation and a member of the Commercial Committee of the Mater Medical Research Institute.

He has more than 35 years of chartered accountancy experience, specialising in mergers, acquisitions, takeovers, corporate restructures and share issues.

In welcoming Grant to the Company, the Chairman, Geoff McGrath said “Grant possesses great technical abilities and business acumen and will make a valuable contribution to the future growth of our company”.
