Significant event to be reported: Information on the status of the civil action lodged by ALRO S.A. against the Competition Council concerning the former's claim for the cancellation of the Sanction decision no. 82/2015 issued by the Competition Council

In addition to the current reports dated as of 30.09.2021, respectively the 06.12.2021, we hereby inform the general public and the investors that in the case file no. 954/2/2016 whose subject is the the application for annulment of the sanction minutes administrative act as well as the application for the annulment of the sanction decision no.82/2015 issued by the Competition Council, further to the enclosing of the file no. 3536/2/2016, the Romanian High Court of Cassation and Justice has set the date of 02.02.2023 as first hearing date, in order to settle the appeal filed by Alro S.A. against the civil decision no. 2677/30.12.2019 ruled by the Bucharest Court of Appeal.

In order to resolve the appeal expeditiously, ALRO S.A. submitted to the High Court of Cassation and Justice of Romania a request to change this trial term and this court established on 13.01.2022 the trial term for solving the request for the change of the trial term initially set for the date of 02.02 .2023.

Alro S.A. will inform the general public and the investors on the status of the aforementioned case files in due time.
