(17 pages by email)

Dear Madam

COMPLETION OF SECURITY PURCHASE PLAN AND PLACEMENT

The Directors are pleased to advise that the Augur Resources Ltd (‘Augur’ or ‘the Company’) Security Purchase Plan (‘SPP’) as announced on 3 August 2012 has been completed. Shareholders subscribed for 10,500,000 shares totalling $420,000.

In addition, the Company has placed, in accordance with the Company’s 15% capacity pursuant to ASX Listing Rule 7.1, a further 17,593,750 shares with a range of Australian and overseas investors. The shares were issued at 4 cents, the same price as shares issued under the SPP, raising an additional $703,750.

Augur’s Managing Director Grant Kensington said; "Given the current investment environment it is extremely encouraging to get the support from both current shareholders and new shareholders. The completion of the capital raising represents strong support for the Wonogiri gold and copper project in central Java."

In accordance with Listing Rule 3.10, I attach an Appendix 3B - New Issue Announcement, Application for Quotation of Additional Securities and in accordance with Listing Rule 3.19A, I attach an Appendix 3Y, Change of Director's Interest Notice, for each of Grant Kensington, Peter Nightingale, Norman Seckold and Justin Werner.

Yours sincerely
