Almarai announces resignation of a Member of the Board of Directors and the appointment of another Member

Almarai announces the acceptance of its Board of Directors in its meeting held on Monday 22 September 2014 the resignation for personal reasons of HE Dr. Abdulraouf Bin Mohammed Manna (a non-executive Director, one of SAVOLA Group representatives in Almarai Board of Directors) submitted on Sunday 10th. August, 2014 effective from the date of Board acceptance.

Almarai Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Board Members, extend their sincere thanks and appreciations to HE Dr. Abdulraouf Bin Mohammed Manna for the extensive efforts he devoted during his term of membership in Almarai Board of Directors.

Meanwhile, the Board of Directors has issued in the same meeting its decision on the appointment of HE Engineer / Abdullah Bin Mohammed Noor Rihaimi as a non-executive Board Member and representative of SAVOLA Group with effect from September 22, 2014, noting that this appointment is not final and will be presented to the first General Assembly meeting for approval.

HE Engineer / Abdullah Bin Mohammed Noor Rihaimi is currently one of SAVOLA Group Directors and assumes membership of a number of the Board of Directors of SAVOLA subsidiary companies, besides assuming membership of other Saudi Joint Stock companies as well. Previously, he has held a number of senior leadership managerial positions in a number of governmental and private organizations and institutions, most notably his position as Chairman of the General Authority for Civil Aviation and his position as Deputy Director General of the Saudi Industrial Development Fund. HE Engineer / Abdullah Bin Mohammed Noor Rihaimi holds BSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering from King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals in 1975.
