Alliance Pharma plc (AIM: APH), the speciality pharmaceutical company, announces that Richard Wright has informed the Board of his intention to leave the Company, after nearly eight years as Finance Director, to pursue other opportunities.  Richard will remain in his role until 31 May 2015.

A search process for a new Finance Director has commenced and the Company will provide an update on this in due course.

John Dawson, Alliance Pharma's Chief Executive, commented: "I have enjoyed working with Richard and warmly thank him for the very significant contribution he has made to Alliance's development over these past several years.  On behalf of the entire Board I wish him well with his future endeavours."
