Allgeier with sales of Euro 13.1 m and EBIT of Euro -1.4 m after 3 quarters Ad-hoc-announcement transmitted by DGAP. The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– Allgeier with sales of Euro 13.1 m and EBIT of Euro -1.4 m after 3 quarters Munich, 29 November 2002. In the first nine months of the current business year, Allgeier Computer AG, Munich, managed to account for a distinct increase in consolidated sales to Euro 13.1 million (previous year: Euro 6.1 million). This steep rise in sales is due to the first consolidation of the participation in EA Elektro-Automatik GmbH & Co. KG (business unit ‘Basic technology’) on a pro rata temporis basis beginning on 30 June 2002. Due to delayed inflows of orders in the business of telecommunications infrastructure, sales of EA Elektro-Automatik GmbH & Co. KG showed a weaker than expected development in the 3rd quarter so that negative earnings had to be put up with. On the other hand, after the restructuring programme had been carried out with success the IT Solutions business unit could achieve a significant improvement in earnings. In particular, the operative IT business sector Germany spun off into Allgeier IT Solutions GmbH on 10 June 2002 could for the first time contribute positively to earnings again. The group altogether achieved negative operating earnings (EBIT) in the amount of Euro -1.375 million (previous year: Euro -1.434 million) and negative earnings before taxes (after deduction of minorities) in the amount of Euro – 1.126 million (previous year: Euro -0.721 million). Despite the measures introduced and a discernibly rising demand also in the business unit ‘Basic technology’ the company proceeds on the assumption of negative operating earnings for the overall year as these circumstances will only take effect on sales and earnings from 2003 on. Besides a further increase in consolidated sales, Allgeier Computer AG expects positive consolidated earnings in the business year 2003.
