Rada Dyrektorów Allegro.eu ("Spółka") niniejszym informuje, że w dniu 8 lutego 2022 r. pan Alvise Favara i pan David Roberts zostali powołani na stanowisko członków zarządu Allegro.pl sp. z o.o. ("Allegro.pl"), spółki pośrednio zależnej będącej w pełni własnością Spółki, ze skutkiem od 1 marca 2022 r. Zarówno Alvis Favara, jak i David Roberts dołączyli do Allegro w styczniu 2022 r. - Alvise jako Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), a David jako Chief Technology and Product Officer (CTPO). Alvise Favara dołączył do Allegro z Amazon Germany, gdzie kierował segmentem Consumables. Przed objęciem tego stanowiska kierował ogólnoeuropejskimi procesami operacyjnymi w Amazonie, obejmującymi: zarządzanie zapasami oraz politykę dotyczącą cen, zwrotów, zapasów jak i dostawców. Był również Partnerem w McKinsey i pracownikiem naukowym na Uniwersytecie we Florencji, w tym na stanowisku badawczym w CERN i CalTech. David Roberts dołączył do Allegro po czterech latach pracy w Zalando, gdzie odpowiadał za kwestie strategiczne, w tym wizję firmy, projektowanie procesów, skalowanie zespołów, a także zapewnianie rozwoju platformie. Kierował zespołem profesjonalistów odpowiadając za wiele obszarów biznesowych, takich jak: zarządzanie produktem, inżynieria, integracja, operacje, zarządzanie łańcuchem dostaw oraz innymi zespołami strategicznymi, tworząc narzędzia wspierające sprzedawców czy też poszerzanie oferty. Przed dołączeniem do Zalando David pracował w amerykańskim oddziale Amazona w dziale Engineering & Product Leadership, a wcześniej kierował zespołem inżynierskim w AOL, realizując projekty w Indiach i Chinach.
Zdaniem Rady Dyrektorów, powołanie Alvisa i Davida w skład zarządu Allegro.pl leży w najlepszym interesie Grupy. Nowo powołane osoby posiadają wiedzę i doświadczenie, które odpowiadają ambitnym planom ekspansji międzynarodowej Allegro, o których Spółka informuje na bieżąco.

Title: Appointment of two members of the Management Board of Allegro.pl sp. z o.o.

The Board of Directors of Allegro.eu (the "Company") hereby reports that on 8 February 2022 Mr. Alvise Favara and Mr. David Roberts were appointed as the members of the Management Board of Allegro.pl sp z o.o. ("Allegro. pl"), a wholly owned indirect subsidiary of the Company, with the effective date of 1 March 2022.

Both Alvise Favara and David Roberts joined Allegro in January 2022 - Alvise as Allegro's Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), and David as the Chief Technology and Product Officer (CTPO).

Alvise Favara moved to Allegro from Amazon Germany, where he headed the Consumables business. Prior to this role, he led Amazon's Pan-European retail operating processes, including: inventory management, pricing, customer returns, inventory recovery and vendor management. He was also a Partner at McKinsey and an academic at the University of Florence including a research position at CERN and CalTech.

David Roberts joined Allegro after four years at Zalando, where he was responsible for strategic matters including vision, processes' design, teams' scale-up, as well as delivering growth for the marketplace. He led the team of professionals covering a wide scope of business areas such as: running the product, engineering, integrations, operations, supply chain management as well as other strategic teams, building the tools to support merchants in their competition on the platform and widening selection. Before joining Zalando, David worked at Amazon in the US in Engineering & Product Leadership, and before that he was in charge of the AOL engineering team, developing projects in India and China.

The Board believes that the appointment of Alvise and David as new members of Allegro.pl's Management Board would be in the best interests of the Group. The newly appointed individuals come equipped with just the right know-how to suit Allegro's ambitious international expansion plans, which the Company informs about on a regular basis.
