Stuttgart, 02.11.2000 – Mit der am 31.10.2000 erfolgten Unterzeichnung der definitiven Verträge über die Veräußerung des Geschäftsbereichs Distribution Solutions an die bäurer AG, Hüfingen, hat AC-Service einen entscheidenden Schritt auf dem Weg zu einem auf IT Outsourcing, Human Resource Services sowie Application Service Provision fokussierten IT Dienstleister zurückgelegt. Der Bereich, der in den ersten 6 Monaten in 2000 einen Umsatz von 12,3 Mio DEM erzielte, geht mit wirtschaftlicher Wirkung zum 1.10. 2000 auf bäurer über und ist daher für die letzten drei Monate 2000 nicht mehr umsatzwirksam. AC-Service und bäurer haben sich auf einen Preis von 11,4 Mio. DEM geeinigt. Der Veräußerungsgewinn gelangt im vierten Quartal zum Ausweis und wird voraussichtlich zu einem deutlich positiven EBIT für das Geschäftsjahr 2000 führen. AC-Service wird die strategische Fokussierung auf IT Outsourcing, Human Resource Services und Application Service Provision weiter fortsetzen. Markedly favorable EBIT expected for 2000. Stuttgart, 2 November 2000 – With the 31 October 2000 signing of the definitive contracts on the sale of the Distribution Solutions business division to bäurer AG in Hüfingen, AC-Service has taken a decisive step forward in becoming an IT service provider focused on IT Outsourcing, Human Resource Services and Application Service Provision. The division, which posted sales of DEM 12.3 million in the first six months of this financial year, was transferred to bäurer with a business effective date of 1 October 2000, and therefore will have no effect on sales for the last three quarters of the year. AC-Service and bäurer have agreed on a price of 11,4 Mio DEM. The resulting contribution is to be recognized in the profit and loss account in the fourth quarter and is expected to lead to a significantly positive EBIT for the 2000 financial year.
