The sender is solely responsible for the contents of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– AC-Service with Sales Plus of 30% Continuing operations post preliminary sales of EUR 40,9 million. Discontinuing Distribution Solutions Stuttgart, 13 February 2001 – In the 2000 financial year, AC-Service posted an as yet unaudited EUR 40,9 million in sales within its continuing operations (prior year: EUR 31,4 million) for an increase of 30%. Contributing to total sales were the divisions IT Outsourcing, with external sales revenues of EUR 19,2 million (prior year; EUR 14,6 million), and Human Resource Services with EUR 17,1 million (prior year EUR 12,5 million). Sales of EUR 4,6 million (prior year: EUR 4,3 million) are attributable to other operating activities. This 30% (EUR 9,5 million) boost in sales is a result of new client projects in line with the push to expand SAP-based Outsourcing and Application Services, and the acquisition of payroll-accounting operations under the ACCURAT brand made in November 1999. The shareholding in Process Partner AG, in place since 1 July 2000, contributed EUR 1,2 million to these total preliminary sales figures. The continuing operations had a personnel strength of 302 full time equivalents as of 31 December 2000. The discontinuing Distribution Solutions business division posted preliminary sales of EUR 9,8 million in 2000. This division’s operations were taken over by bäurer AG in Hüfingen with an economic effective date of 1 October 2000, and so generated only insignificant revenues for AC-Service in the fourth quarter.
