Alkane Resources Ltd (ASX Code: ALK)

Notice under section 708A(5)(e) of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth)

This notice is given by Alkane Resources Ltd (“ Issuer ”) under section 708A(5)(e) of the Corporations Act 2001 (“ Act ”).

On 23 September 2019, the Issuer issued 1,161,638 fully paid ordinary shares (“ Shares ”) for no consideration to existing senior management personnel, pursuant to the Issuer's employee incentive arrangements ( “Issue” ).

The Issuer gives notice under section 708A(5)(e) of the Act that:

• (a) the Shares were issued without disclosure to investors under Part 6D.2 of the Act;

• (b) as at the date of this notice:

  • (i) the Issuer has complied with the provisions of Chapter 2M of the Act, as they apply to the Issuer; and

  • (ii) the Issuer has complied with section 674 of the Act; and

  • (iii) there is no information that is ‘excluded information’ within the meaning of sections 708A(7) and 708A(8) of the Act which is required to be disclosed under section 708(6)(e) of the Act.
