Alkane Managing Director Appointed to Rare Earths Board

Alkane Resources Managing Director, Mr Ian Chalmers, has been appointed to the advisory board of Rare Earth Element World (REE World), an international organisation providing rare earths sector market information, news and commentary.

The REE World board comprises senior executives from seven of the leading rare earths mining companies internationally, three rare earths experts and three finance/business consultants.

Based in Toronto, Canada, REE World provides a platform for industry leaders and experts to provide updates and opinions on the market. This material will be compiled in a regular fortnightly report, covering the rare earths sector. REE World will host the Technology Metals Summit in Toronto from 1-2 February 2012.
