Extension of Closing Date for Non-Renounceable Rights Issue

Alkane Resources Limited (ASX:ALK) ( Company ) refers to the offer document dated 28 November 2019 ( Offer Document ) for the Company’s pro-rata non-renounceable rights issue ( Offer ) of new ordinary shares in the Company ( New Shares ).

The board of the Company ( Board ) is aware that some shareholders who are eligible to participate in the Offer ( Eligible Shareholders ) have experienced a delay in the delivery of their Offer Document through the postal system (namely due to congestion issues at this time of the year) and, therefore, the Board has resolved to extend the closing date of the Offer from 13 December 2019 to 5:00pm (WST) on Wednesday, 18 December 2019 ( Closing Date ).

The Closing Date has been extended by the Board to allow sufficient time for Eligible Shareholders to receive mailed copies of the Offer Document and the accompanying entitlement and acceptance form.

As a result, the revised timetable for the Offer is as follows:

*The Directors may extend the Closing Date by giving at least 3 business days’ notice to ASX prior to the Closing Date. As such, the date the New Shares are expected to commence trading on ASX may vary.
