algoWatt: finanziato progetto europeo per l'interoperabilità della piattaforma di gestione delle Comunità Energetiche

• La società ha ottenuto un grant di Euro 150mila nell'ambito del programma Interconnect, con il progetto ECSITE

algoWatt S.p.A., GreenTech Solutions Company quotata sul mercato Euronext Milan di Borsa Italiana, comunica di essersi aggiudicata un finanziamento di Euro 150mila per mentoring e supporto al progetto ECSITE - Energy Communities' Semantic Interoperability Throughout Europe (https://interconnectproject.eu/news/meet-interconnect-prototypes-open-call-winners/).

L'obiettivo del progetto ECSITE è rendere la piattaforma digitale LIBRA CE - la soluzione proprietaria di algoWatt per la gestione integrata delle Comunità Energetiche Rinnovabili e i Gruppi di Autoconsumo (https://algowatt.com/comunita-energetiche/) - compatibile con l'Interoperability Framework del progetto InterConnect e, pertanto, conforme alla Smart Applications REFerence ontology (SAREF), ampliandone applicabilità, interoperabilità e scalabilità funzionale.

algoWatt è tra le 10 PMI europee selezionate per il finanziamento e per un programma di sostegno di 9 mesi:, che partirà a dicembre 2022. La procedura di selezione ha previsto l'esame di 66 domande presentate da 20 paesi dell'Unione Europea e associati.

Il risultato del progetto ECSITE consisterà in una piattaforma digitale semanticamente interoperabile su misura per la Comunità Energetiche (CER). Uno strumento di aggregazione innovativo per i membri della CER ai quali saranno offerti servizi essenziali (monitoraggio del consumo e della produzione di energia a livello comunitario, calcolo dell'energia condivisa). Il focus sulla interoperabilità consentirà a LIBRA CE di interagire con servizi, dispositivi e piattaforme digitali che già utilizzano l'Interoperability Framework InterConnect e SAREF, potenziando il grado di integrazione diretta con i misuratori e gli elettrodomestici intelligenti e minimizzando costi di personalizzazione delle installazioni e vendor lock-in.

Si prevede, inoltre, che il know-how tecnico maturato nel progetto ECSITE consentirà ad algoWatt di migliorare e sviluppare nel breve periodo alcuni tra i modelli di business più rilevanti oggi sul mercato della digital energy, tra cui: efficienza energetica; gestione della comunità di energia rinnovabile; servizi di demand-response e flessibilità; scambio energetico P2P (peer-to-peer) / P2G (peer-to-grid).

Il progetto InterConnect ha ricevuto finanziamenti dal programma di ricerca e innovazione Horizon 2020 dell'Unione Europea nell'ambito del Grant Agreement N. 857237.

algoWatt: European project for the interoperability of the Energy Community Management Platform received a grant

• The company was awarded a grant of Euro 150,000 under the Interconnect programme, with the ECSITE project

algoWatt S.p.A., a GreenTech Solutions Company listed on the Euronext Milan market of Borsa Italiana, announces that it has been awarded a Euro 150,000 grant for mentoring and support to the ECSITE - Energy Communities' Semantic Interoperability Throughout Europe project (https://interconnectproject.eu/news/meetinterconnect-prototypes-open-call-winners/).

The aim of the ECSITE project is to make the LIBRA CE digital platform - algoWatt's proprietary solution for the integrated management of Renewable Energy Communities and Self-Consumption Groups (https://algowatt.com/comunita-energetiche/) - compatible with the InterConnect project's Interoperability Framework and, therefore, compliant with the Smart Applications REFerence ontology (SAREF), extending its applicability, interoperability and functional scalability.

algoWatt is among the 10 European SMEs selected for funding and a 9-month support programme, which will start in December 2022. The selection process involved the consideration of 66 applications from 20 EU and associated countries.

The outcome of the ECSITE project will consist of a semantically interoperable digital platform tailor-made for Energy Communities (RECs). An innovative aggregation tool for RECs members to whom essential services will be offered (monitoring of energy consumption and production at community level, calculation of shared energy). The focus on interoperability will enable LIBRA CE to interact with services, devices and digital platforms that already use the InterConnect and SAREF Interoperability Framework, enhancing the degree of direct integration with smart meters and appliances and minimising installation customisation and vendor lockin costs.

It is also expected that the technical know-how gained in the ECSITE project will enable algoWatt to improve and develop in the short term some of the most relevant business models in the digital energy market today, including: energy efficiency; renewable energy community management; demand-response and flexibility services; P2P (peer-to-peer) / P2G (peer-to-grid) energy exchange.

The InterConnect project received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under Grant Agreement No. 857237.
