algoWatt, greentech solutions company quotata sul mercato telematico azionario (MTA) di Borsa Italiana, e Caronte & Tourist, società leader nei collegamenti marittimi tra la Sicilia e le sue Isole minori (ma che opera anche tratte sullo Stretto di Messina e in Sardegna, collegando anche - tramite CarTour - la Sicilia e Napoli), fanno il punto sulla prima fase, virtualmente conclusa, del più ampio progetto di riorganizzazione digitale delle attività del Terminal Ticketing C&T sito in prossimità dello svincolo autostradale di Villa San Giovanni.
Dall'attivazione del sistema di automazione al 30 settembre 2020 sono transitati dal porto di Villa San Giovanni circa 1,2 milioni di autovetture, più di 250 mila automezzi commerciali e più di 3,5 milioni di passeggeri.
Sono numeri lusinghieri, che evidenziano la perfetta operatività di un sistema del tutto nuovo eppure già da subito a regime.

algoWatt, GreenTech Solutions company listed on Borsa Italiana's electronic stock exchange (MTA), and Caronte & Tourist, a leading company in maritime connections between Sicily and its minor islands (but also operating routes on the Strait of Messina and Sardinia, also connecting - through CarTour - Sicily and Naples), point out the first phase, virtually completed, of the wider project of digital reorganization of the activities of the C&T Ticketing Terminal located near the freeway junction of Villa San Giovanni.
Since the activation of the automation system on September 30, 2020, about 1.2 million cars, more than 250 thousand commercial vehicles and more than 3.5 million passengers have passed through the port of Villa San Giovanni. These are flattering numbers, which highlight the perfect operation of a completely new system and yet already fully operational.
