Alfa Laval has finalized cancellation of shares and increase of share capital

Alfa Laval – a world leader in heat transfer, centrifugal separation and fluid handling – has finalized the cancellation of repurchased shares and the increase of the Company's restricted equity and share capital in accordance with decisions of the Annual General Meeting.

The Annual General Meeting held on April 20th, 2009, resolved in favour of the following proposals of the Board of Directors:

  • To reduce the Company's share capital with SEK 19,125,358 by way of cancelling the 7,353,950 repurchased shares.
  • The reduced share capital of SEK 19,125,358 shall be allocated into a fund at the disposal of the General Meeting.
  • An increase of the Company's restricted equity and share capital by SEK 19,125,358.

The resolutions of the Annual General Meeting according to above have been registered with the Swedish Company Register.
