Item 8.01 Other Events.

On July 29, 2021, Alector, Inc. issued a press release announcing data from its Phase 2 trial of AL001 patients with FTD (N=12) at the 2021 Alzheimer’s Association International Conference held on July 26, 2021 through July30, 2021. A copy of that press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
