Albion Development VCT PLC (the “Company”) announces the sad news that its longest serving director and Chairman, Geoffrey Vero passed away on Sunday 19 May 2019 following a short illness.

Geoffrey Vero joined the board of the Company on 2 July 2007. He became Chairman on 31 December 2007 and was Chairman of the audit committee. He was also formerly a director of Crown Place VCT PLC.

Geoffrey’s good humour and wise counsel, over many years, will be sorely missed by his fellow directors and the Manager, Albion Capital, alike. Our thoughts and condolences are with his family at this difficult time.

The Board will undertake a formal selection process with a view to appointing a Chairman in due course.
