Retirement of Director

Perth: Alara Resources Limited (ASX: AUQ) ( Alara) announces the retirement of Shanker Madan as Director of the Company.

Shanker Madan was the Managing Director of the Company since its IPO in 2007 (until 30 June 2013[1] ) and lead the recently completed DFS[2] on Alara’s flagship Khnaiguiyah ZincCopper Project in Saudi Arabia.

The Board thanks Shanker for his services to the Company and wishes him well in his future endeavours.
