NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR MR FAROOQ KHAN RESIGNS AS A DIRECTOR
Perth: Alara Resources Limited (ASX: AUQ ) (“Alara” or “Company”) wishes to announce that Non-Executive Director Mr Farooq Khan will be resigning from the Board on 31 August 2012.
Commenting on Mr Khan’s resignation, Alara Chairman, Mr Ian Williams AO, stated:
“Mr Khan has been a Director since the Company’s IPO on ASX in May 2007.
He has been an important member of the Board given his extensive executive management, M&A and capital markets expertise.
I wish to publicly record the Board’s appreciation of Mr Khan’s valuable contribution to the Company in the past 5 years and in particular his leadership during Alara’s transition to a base metals development company.”
