Decision on share issue

The Board of Directors of Aktia plc has today, supported by the authorisations given by the company's AGM on 21 December 2006 regarding the establishment of share-based incentives for the Group's key personnel and in accordance with the terms approved of by the Board in 2007 regarding an incentive programme for the senior executive management, decided on a directed share issue to named persons in the company's senior executive management. In the issue, a maximum of 12,490 new series A shares are issued at a subscription price of EUR 6.00 per share.
