Aktia plc Stock Exchange Announcement on 28 November 2008 at 12 Noon Aktia's financial reports, Annual General Meeting 2009, and change of segments Annual Accounts Announcement 2008 Aktia plc will publish its Accounts Announcement 2008 on Thursday 12 February 2009 at 10 a.m. Annual Report 2008 Aktia plc will publish its Annual Report on Thursday 16 March 2009. Interim Reports 2009 Interim Report for January-March 2009 - Tuesday 12 May Interim Report for January-June 2009 - Thursday 20 August Interim Report for January-September 2009 - Monday 9 November Annual General Meeting of Shareholders Aktia's Annual General Meeting of Shareholders will be held on Monday 30 March 2009. Change of segments from 1 January 2009 At present Aktia has segment-based reporting in five business areas: Retail Banking, Corporate Banking & Treasury, Asset Management, Life Insurance, and the segment Miscellaneous which includes certain administrative functions of Aktia plc, its real estate operations as well as return on equity. Segments shall be divided so that similar business areas are included in one segment. Therefore, the present segments Retail Banking and Corporate Banking & Treasury will form a new segment, Banking. From 1 January 2009, The Veritas Mutual Non-Life Insurance Company is also included in the Aktia Group, and, for the first time, reports based on the new division of segments will be published in the Interim Report 1 January-31 March 2009. Beginning 1 January 2009, the reported segments are 1. Banking 2. Asset Management 3. Life Insurance 4. Non-Life Insurance 5. Miscellaneous Comparative figures for 2008 on the new division into segments will be published before the Interim Report 1 January-31 March 2009.
