Reference is made to the stock exchange announcements by Aker Carbon Capture ASA

(the "Company") published on 12 August 2021 regarding a successfully completed

private placement of 38,181,818 new ordinary shares (the "New Shares") in the

Company (the "Private Placement") and the board's decision to issue the New

Shares pursuant to an authorization granted to the board by the annual general

meeting in the Company held on 20 April 2021.

The share capital increase related to the Private Placement has now been

registered with the Norwegian Register of Business Enterprises. The new share

capital of the Company is NOK 604,242,218, divided into 604,242,218 shares, each

with a nominal value of NOK 1.
