Update on Langlitinden exploration well
Det norske oljeselskap ASA has, as operator for PL 659, from core
samples identified hydrocarbon shows in exploration well 7222/11-2 on
the Langlitinden prospect in the Barents Sea.
Drilling operations are ongoing and final results are thus not yet
available.
Det norske oljeslskap ASA is operator for the license with a 30 percent
interest (20 percent)*. Partners include Petoro 30 percent, Lundin
Norway 20 percent, Tullow Oil 10 percent (15 percent)*, Atlantic
Petroleum 0 percent (10 percent)*, Rocksource Exploration Norway 5
percent and Ithaca Petroleum Norge 5 percent (0 percent)*.
* Det norske has transferred a ten percent working interest to Atlantic
Petroleum. Ithaca has transferred a five percent working interest to
Tullow Oil Norge AS. The transactions are subject to government
approval. New ownership interests following government approval are
listed in brackets.
