Disclosure of shareholdings

As a result of the issuance of 91,111,111 new shares

in Det Norske Oljeselskap ASA (formerly Aker

Exploration ASA) upon the completion of the merger

between Aker Exploration ASA and Det Norske

Oljeselskap on 22 December 2009, the shareholding of

HBK Master Fund L.P. was reduced below the 5 per cent

disclosure threshold. HBK Master Fund L.P. holds

bonds convertible into 1,677,130 shares in Det Norske

Oljeselskap ASA, equal to 1.509 per cent of the total

number of outstanding shares".
