Disclosure of large shareholding

Pursuant to section 4-1 of the Norwegian Securities

Trading Act, we hereby give notice that the funds

managed by Newtyn Management, LLC have purchased

1,255,634 shares of Akastor ASA on January 20, 2017

which brings the total number of shares held by the

funds to 41,300,000 shares. This represents 15.07% of

the 274,000,000 issued shares and voting rights.

The shares and voting rights are held as follows:

27,465,197 shares held by Newtyn Partners, LP

13,834,803 shares held by Newtyn TE Partners, LP
