Disclosure of large shareholding

Pursuant to section 4-1 of the Norwegian Securities

Trading Act, we hereby give notice that the funds

managed by Newtyn Management, LLC have purchased

4,341,234 shares of Akastor ASA on April 5, 2016 which

brings the total number of shares held by the funds to

42,656,327 shares. This represents 15.57% of the

274,000,000 issued shares and voting rights.

The shares and voting rights are held as follows:

29,006,303 shares held by Newtyn Partners, LP

13,650,024 shares held by Newtyn TE Partners, LP
