DISCLOSURE OF SHAREHOLDING IN AKER SOLUTIONS ASA

(ticker AKSO_NO; SEDOL B1VLVW7)

This joint disclosure is made by Artisan Partners

Limited Partnership ("Artisan") for and on behalf of

itself as well as for and on behalf of Artisan

International Value Fund, in accordance with Section

4-3 of the Norwegian Securities Trading Act.

Artisan acts as discretionary investment adviser to

its clients, including but not limited to the Artisan

International Value Fund, and is authorized to

exercise voting rights attached to the shares under

management on a discretionary basis.

On September 10, 2014 (with settle date September 15,

2014), Artisan acquired 362,308 shares in Aker

Solutions ASA ("AKSO") for and on behalf of the

Artisan International Value Fund. As a result of the

transaction, Artisan International Value Fund crossed

the 5% threshold of Section 4-3 of the Norwegian

Securities Trading Act on an individual basis.

Following the transaction, Artisan International

Value Fund's aggregate shareholding in AKSO amounts

to 13,914,875 shares, equaling 5.08% of the issued

shares and votes in AKSO.

Following the transaction, the aggregate shareholding

in AKSO over which Artisan is authorized to exercise

voting rights on a discretionary basis (including the

shares held by Artisan International Value Fund as

described above) amounts to 19,377,061 shares,

equaling 7.07% of the issued shares and votes in

AKSO.

The above calculations are based on a total number of

outstanding shares in AKSO of 274,000,000 shares.

No rights to shares in AKSO are held by Artisan

International Value Fund or any other client of

Artisan.
