Notification and public disclosure of PDMR dealing, exercise of share options and total voting rights

The Company announces that Michael Summersgill, the Company's Chief Executive Officer and a person discharging managerial responsibility (PDMR), exercised nominal cost options under the Company's Executive Incentive Plan (EIP) on 24 August 2023 as follows:

a)   a deferred share award in respect of 81,675 ordinary shares of £0.000125 each in the Company (Ordinary Shares) granted on 7 December 2018 (FY19 DSA); and

b)   an annual share award in respect of 36,195 Ordinary Shares granted on 9 December 2021 (FY22 ASA).

A total of 117,870 new Ordinary Shares were issued to settle the awards on 25 August 2023 out of the Company's block listing authority of 24 December 2018, as increased on 11 December 2019 and 6 December 2022.

Following the issue of the new Ordinary Shares, which rank pari passu in all respects with the Company's existing Ordinary Shares, the Company has a total issued share capital of 412,207,306 Ordinary Shares, each carrying one vote. The Company does not hold any Ordinary Shares in treasury so the total number of voting rights is 412,207,306. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest, or a change to their interest, in the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.

Following the above transactions, the number of Ordinary Shares in which Michael Summersgill has an interest is 1,146,182 Ordinary Shares, which represents approximately 0.278% of the issued share capital.
