("AJ Bell", the "Company")

Notification and public disclosure of transactions by persons discharging managerial responsibilities and persons closely associated with them

The Company announces that it has been notified of the below transactions (Transactions). 

(1)  On 30 March 2021: 

a)   Roger Stott, a person discharging managerial responsibility in the Company (PDMR), purchased 50,000 ordinary shares of £0.000125 each in the Company (Ordinary Shares) for £4.23291 per Ordinary Share; and  

b)  Julie Stott, a person closely associated (PCA) with Roger Stott, purchased 50,000 Ordinary Shares for £4.236217 per Ordinary Share. 

(2)  On 31 March 2021: 

a)  Bruce Robinson, a PDMR, in order to effect a "Bed and ISA" transaction, sold 2,930 Ordinary Shares at a price of £4.20 pence per Ordinary Share and then repurchased via his AJ Bell Youinvest Individual Savings Account (ISA) the same number of 2,930 Ordinary Shares at a price of £4.20 pence per Ordinary Share; and 

b)   Lee Robinson, a PCA with Bruce Robinson, in order to effect a: 

(i)  "Bed and ISA" transaction, sold 2,930 Ordinary Shares at a price of £4.20 pence per Ordinary Share and then repurchased, into her ISA, the same number of 2,930 Ordinary Shares at a price of £4.20 pence per Ordinary Share; and 

(ii)  "Bed and SIPP" transaction, sold 3,381 Ordinary Shares at a price of £4.205 per Ordinary Share and then repurchased via her AJ Bell Youinvest Self Invested Personal Pension account (SIPP), the same number of 3,381 Ordinary Shares at a price of £4.205 per Ordinary Share. 

(3)  On 31 March 2021: 

a)   Fergus Lyons, a PDMR, transferred by way of gift: 

(i)  750,000 Ordinary Shares to his adult daughter, Sophie O'Brien and her husband, Daniel O'Brien;  

(ii)   750,000 Ordinary Shares to his adult son, Declan Lyons; and 

(iii)  250,000 Ordinary Shares to his adult son, Conor Lyons,

none of whom are a PCA with Fergus Lyons. 

(4)  Following completion of the Transactions, each of the PDMRs named in column (1) of the below table is interested in the number of Ordinary Shares in the Company and percentage of the Company's issued share capital set alongside their respective names in columns (2) and (3) of the below table.
