Airthings ASA will recruit new CFO

Oslo Norway, June 22, 2021: Airthings ASA announces that Erik Lundby will step down from his position as Chief Financial Officer on July 31, 2021.

Airthings has appointed an executive search company in the process of finding a new CFO and the recruitment process is expected to be concluded within the coming 3 months. To ensure safe handling of the company’s financial functions until a new CFO has been recruited, Airthings has appointed Magnus Navdal Bekkelund as acting CFO. Magnus is currently Group Controller at Airthings and has previously been Director Group Accounting at TGS ASA and Auditor at EY.

“Erik came in as CFO through the acquisition of Airtight in August 2020. During this period Erik has contributed significantly during the IPO process and built a solid financial team at Airthings. I wish Erik continued success in the next chapter of his career”, says CEO Øyvind Birkenes.
